Since I-215 is horrible with traffic. What does everyone think of the following zipcodes?

89178
89141
89139

I am looking at this address specifically.
5083/GROVELAND AV

Thanks

KEvin

You're stressing over nothing. Traffic is no different than any other large city. It's not as bad as places like LA or Washington, DC, etc. Most people just figure out how long it takes to get to work and then you allow a few extra minutes for unusual situations. Get acquainted with the short cuts so in case there's a traffic jam you can go around it. It's no big deal. Live anywhere in the Valley that you choose. It's going to take a lot of patience around Groveland Ave because that is all new construction out there. But on the bright side, it's not congested...yet, and it's rural for now. Or at least as rural as you can expect in Las Vegas. Are you renting? If so, what's the difference. Once you learn the areas you like, move. I've always thought that when we say Las Vegas is a transient town it means everybody constantly moves from one side of town to the other and back again.

PS: You probably should have kept this in your original thread.

Groveland is the worst because its in the little part of the SW that is trapped, their is only 2 ways out, Blue Diamond or Warm Springs, the Warm Springs bride is 1 lane each way and sometimes can take 20 minutes, while Blue Diamond is down to one or 2 lanes...too much traffic, plus there's no supermarket on Decatur either...
