been renting unit for 2 years.went to mo. to mo. after 1st year..recieved notice of sale (foreclosure) 6 months ago.landlord and i settled up accounts prior to sale date.Sale was postponed and i was not contacted by the landlord again.
Received notice for new day of sale at end of this month.
My questions is since I have not paid rent since first sale cancelled do I still get 90 day notice with my paying the new owner rent???or will I get a 5 day order to quit the unit (move)??

thank you

You will get a 5 day order to quit. Don't sweat it- you can easily stay another 3 months before you are actually booted out and even then your stuff can stay another 30 days.

But if the OP stays after being told to get out in five days, won't the OP end up with an eviction on record?

When the foreclosure takes place, the new owner becomes the landlord which you pay rent to. If you are late, even within the 90 day period, with the new landlord you can be evicted. And yes you will have an eviction on record

Eviction requires a civil action:

The auction is on day x and the trustee deed is sent to the new owner via mail and generally recorded within x+14 days. The sale is then backdated and considered to be on day x.

You won't know who the new owner is until they either knock on your door or until after the trustee deed is recorded and you look it up.
