vegas is for losers and has-beens.
Always has ...always will.
Rotflmfao!!!!

The problem with las vegas is that (most) everyone is from somewhere else. Which makes for a city filled with losers that ran away (or couldnt make it) in their home states. Las vegas has the nations worst of the worst. Ever notice that las vegas leads the country in the list of the worst things.
You have the worst schools, weather, culture, etc. Etc.
I get it . Let the nations worst all gather there. Then let the nuke dump there leak. Hahahahahah
bunch of knuckleheads!!!

We raised our 3 small children here and loved every minute of it..So much we are returning to Henderson, actually my wife is there and kids are coming this weekend. Just watch what area and read what some have to say on here as there are some very wise people that can help.

I understand, you do what you gotta do and when the time comes Im sure you will move to a much better area

I lived in an area MUCH worse than where you are at right now, a street called Sierra Vista (its so bad over there that Metro built a substation there) About a month and a half ago I finally moved to Centennial Hills on the far NW side of town and Im loving it even though I am now driving 19 miles to work, to have personal safety and be around good people with tons of shopping, dining, and recreational choices, its worth the higher rent and the further drive

Maybe you can look into an apartment in Centennial when the time comes for you, my 2 bedroom is $780 a month

The far NW is much newer and family oriented than the east side of town for sure, very few casinos with the exception of Santa Fe (which you can bring a family too, tis a got a great buffet, arcade and movie theater too), lots of parks and good schools too

89121 includes a variety of social climates. There are some parts you probably don't want to be by and some that are perfectly fine.

Why would anyone want to move their family to Las Vegas I'll never know. In addition to having the HIGHEST unemployment rate for a city in The United States, we also have an educational system that is rank close to last in The United States. Better think about it!!!

Why do you have this desire to spread lies all the time?

Las Vegas does not have the highest unemployment in the US of either major cities or large cities or any other reasonable way.

Nor are the schools close to last in the US. It does reasonably well for a big school system. Better than LA or NYC for example.

Have you figured out yet what the unemployment rate is in Las Vegas? Or are you still mis-stating that.

Thanks Tagalog...We had no problems finding jobs in the field we love and our kids are attending Del Webb, Hend Inter and Lamping Elementary--all 3 pretty good schools. It also does not matter how good the education system is if you are parents who are involved in your kids education and make sure they are learning. We came back because the KIDS love all the things there are to do, all the nice parks and rec centers, the fact that Lake Las Vegas and GVR have movie nights, there are more places to eat than McDonalds and Wendys, sports all year round and the weather is great!!

If you MUST live east of I-15, make sure its in Henderson or south of Warm Springs Road, Anything east of I-15 that is north of Warm Springs is ghetto and dangerous
