I oersonally loved that area....at one time I lived right at the corner of Sunset and Pecos...Across from Casa de Shanendoah.

Yeah, I don't think the neighborhood gets a bad reputation because of danger...I think it's just a less desirable area because it's older and somewhat lower income (but you're right, the danger factor isn't too bad).
