I like the area but some of the homes are way to close and the bedrooms were a bit small. I would say go for the bigger homes, the smaller homes don't have a very well planned lay out, at least the ones I saw. Also look at the homes in 89135 just south of charleston.

I used to live there, in the Paseos, and absolutely loved it. I moved only when my family situation changed and we needed a larger place.

It's super-convenient to the Beltway, lots of shopping is nearby, it's only about five miles to the entrance to Red Rock Canyon ... honestly, I have nothing negative to say about it. You'll pay the "Summerlin premium" in slightly higher housing costs, but it's well worth it, in my opinion.

We just bought a house in this zip. I'm crazy about it here. We came from NJ about 1 1/2 years ado so I can understand where you are coming from. Good luck with your purchases and, welcome!

How about a major intersection or landmark so we all dont have to google where you are talking about?

I've got one for sale or rent in the Peseos if anyone's interested. I'm not a realtor; just lost my job and need to loose the payment one way or the other.
