Hey I was not suggesting it is not worth worrying about. Just happen to read one of the fatal reports where NHP or Metro mentioned Clark County is 15 behind last year at this point in tim.e

Yeah.. its a problem that can bite anyone at any moment on our roads. I just hope everyone drives carefully and buckle up!

Sheriff--Do you ever post anything positive about LV?? Its funny because on the same KTNV Ch 13 website there was also a story about how 3 cities in Nevada that rank very high in getting out an walking. Henderson is #6 and Vegas is #15 in the US--doesnt really make sense if everyone is lazy does it?? Why didnt you mention that in your post?
Why dont you try and be a little more positive? I for one am sick of reading your negative comments on this site.

Read the actual article from Prevention Magazine. It states the rankings are based on: Fitness walker friendly, safe streets, mild weather, and good air quality. Las Vegas, at best ranks in the middle of the pack on any of these factors. The Best Walking Cities of 2007 - Prevention.com
