And if one wants to get into the crime and bad stuff...I suggest that it might be very easy to do so in LV.

And it is even easier in upstate NY where everybody knows exactly who the bad guys are and likely went to high school with them.

That is a famous attribute of rural places JFK. If you want to get to the bad guys move rural. Everybody knows...

And Chicago, Detroit, LA, Philly, Miami, and the rest of the cities with populations over 50,000. But thanks for the TIP, it's a new year with the same news to some folks.

It's good to see things are returning to normal in THECesspool after the holidays--- high speed chase and shooting on LVBS, child prostitution ring busted, man killed during NHP investigation, and shots fired at Mandalay after a rap concert.

Want to clean up Vagas? Get rid of the Vice. It's just that simple. You want to dance you got to pay the piper as Dad use to say.

I, for one, do not want to clean up Vagas---the economy thrives on visitors willing to spend money based on an image. This is why I voice concern over the safety issue here.

Vice cops or the vices of Vegas?

Vices of Vegas are what draw 30+ million visitors a year and made the city what it is today. Now you want to get rid of the crime off the strip, turn back the clock and let organized crime police itself in that area. Anyone that decided to bring a Glock down the strip would be dealt with immediately and find a dark hole in the desert.

Not a bad idea actually and would save some tax payer money for prosecution and long term residency (jail).

If you really think LV is a cess pool, then why continue to stay there??? If you don't like it then go back to where you orginally came from. You wanna know what a major cess pool is? Go to the city of Los Angeles, which has the highest gang population and high speed chases in the world. LV is a very successful and strong ecomical metropolitan. The Cess Pool thing is really getting old and burn't out. An armpit wouldn't be the entertainment capital of the world for no reason. Every city has crime and problems. Go to some of the slum cities back East if you think LV is so terrible. Go to Detroit, Chicago, Philly or Washington D.C., Now those are decrepit cess pool cities. If you hate it so much, then get out.....

I think Sherif really likes it here. He's probably upset that all these people moving here are not educated or up to his standards and is making Las Vegas his cesspool. In every forum there is someone who will bash a city and there are the cheerleaders who will defend it. I agree with you on the many other US cities that have much worse problems than Las Vegas.
