They aren't calling it Aliante Station anymore. The relationship between Aliante and Stations is over. The Greenspuns and the Fertittas had a nasty break up awhile back. I think Aliante is now held by the banking investors and the management contract with Stations was cancelled.

Nice shots of the property, Von. Please tell me you took them from the parking garage and not the 215...

Yes I did take the photos from the parking garage. Also, I ate at the buffet this past weekend and it is much better than before. Maybe has something to do with not being part of Station any more. Crab legs are back.

Okay. Is GVR still part of Station, or did they get pulled also?

I'm not entirely sure, BBMW, but I read that the owners were going to make The District at Green Valley Ranch
a real road with a parking lot as opposed to the pedestrian friendly walkway they have now on the north side. ( A real shame since that's what gives the District its charm, IMHO.)

That doesn't sound like the Greenspuns or the Fertittas to me, so I'm guessing it's investor owned now. I could be wrong. The Fertitta family (Stations) may still be managing the place under contract like they were with Aliante until recently.

That reminds me...I'm suppose to do a helicopter ride around the strip soon. A visiting friend invited me to tag along. We will see how that goes.
