I am planning to relocate to LV or surrounding areas in 2/3 weeks. For some odd reason I picked this place of any in the USA lol.

Anyways.. I need suggestions on an area that is nice to live, affordable 1 bd room and garaged parking. Also what are the going rates? I am coming from the bay area, ca. A decent 1bd room is 1300.

Ive read in other posts that Summerlin and Green Valley is a nice area.

Also the job market. How is it? I have an admin/office and book keeping background along with a BA. Will it be super hard to find a job? Where can i look? Know anyone hiring!!

Any suggestions, advice is much appreciated.

yep...every post tells you find a job before you move to LV, not after you move to LV.

Don't listen to these "doomer gloomer" nutjobs... there are jobs a'plenty as long as you don't mind saying "would you like some fries with that" @1,000 times each day.

My wife may be taking a job in Henderson.

Yes, we might be moving from one of the places in the country with the lowest unemployment to one of the places with the highest.

Based on my preliminary research, the best-paying job I could land is House Husband.

But if I have a college degree, could I pick up some part time work as a substitute teacher while I go back to school? I speak Spanish, which probably helps.
