Heard that those chairs are really good for pc chair, are there any place in town that I can check them out and sit on them?

We have 4 in our office. They really are great chairs and have an excellent warranty.

I think Relax the back store has them.

We got ours through a website.

New, doubt it. Used probably so. The Aeron is a popular chair and there is used off lease inventory at places Like NV Biz Furniture or Modular concepts. If you want durability then really look into a Steel Case chair.

Our standard company office chair is an Aeron and I liked mine so much I bought four more for the home. In Silicon Valley these are very common so it's easy to find used ones at auction and used furniture stores. I actually buy mine from a chair tech who rebuilds them so they're like new, and he sells them for about 40% of new. I've been in warehouses housing the furniture of defunct startups, and there were hundreds of Aerons.

I believe there are few Las Vegas companies who value their employees enough to give them good chairs, so they're pretty rare here. Type "Aeron" into a search on sfbay.craigslist.org and compare that to doing the same on lasvegas.craigslist.org. I brought the two I have in our Las Vegas house from CA. Stealcase Leap is also a good chair, but can run $1500 or more.

Several places in Las Vegas carry them. Including Relax The Back and Walker Furniture. Including where you might find used. Agree with the above poster on might be hard to find used.

I'd buy used before I'd buy a clone. Clones may look similar (2 layers of padding? Ours have no padding so they are subbing padding with the superior weave of the seat and back? Padding on a seat could shift.) BUT doesn't mean they are constructed the same, to work the same way.

Which is the whole idea behind these chairs. Sitting for hours and being comfortable. Most times you get what you pay for.

It used to be the "It" chair in Silicon Valley, but it's design is quite old. Nowadays, everyone has the Sayl chair instead. The Sayl is the new "It" chair.

Sayl Chair - Herman Miller

Personally, I use the flat bungee chair and like it. Try it out at the Container Store, for example.

I've had mine for twenty years and have no plans to replace it. The warranty did expire after twelve years.

Won't replace mine either.

To each his own. l'll live with what some think is the dated look of the Aeron chair. It's too comfortable. Not one to follow what silicon valley or anyone else does.

OP - you have a good selection to try out now and pick what is comfortable for you.
