Let's hope so...

September 12, 2011 Revenues, Visitation Up Again: Gaming revenues for the state of Nevada were up almost 3.7 percent in July to $860.1 million, while that month also saw a 4.3 percent increase in visitation from a year ago. Average room rates were up almost 10 percent for the month.

This is all temporary. QE2 (started November 2010) is the reason for the December-present improvement. Nothing has been permanently fixed so there is no doubt that the economy is going to get worse.

C'mon, Dynimage, be nice. It is not from me. It is fact. Just look at what is going on Europe. I barely work and have nothing better to do than keep up with current events. Another Lehman moment is approaching. It will originate in Europe and cross over to here.

While I try to stay optimistic. It took a lot of toe jamming and match making from the Fed Treasury and Reserve to keep the whole system in place in 08. It does not take much these days to create panic and start a run on the investment banks worldwide.

So what has changed since you made this post only 2 days ago?

"things are very very rough right now... i just signed up for a booth at the San Gennaro Festival so at least i'll have something this week...."

Here is a good one. The non farm payroll jobs report that come out this month showed ZERO job growth. The worst since 1945.

They might even be able to keep the economy propped up for 2012 so Obozo can be reelected, but that still does not change the overall picture.
