What are the gov't pensions like in NV? That can make a big difference vs. other states with a state income tax. Some states gave pensions to $40K/year employees that are now worth about $2 million. I know a teacher in Idaho who lives like a queen, she retired in her early 50s and will get a nice check for the rest of her life, unless the state goes bankrupt.
