Hi!

I am going to be moving to Vegas within a month or so.

I would like to find a 1 bedroom apartment in a safe area in Northwest Vegas.

Preferably somewhere that offers attached garages and has a good view of the city. I don't want to be in an area where I am likely to have my car broken in to.

I have been looking at "The Boulders at Lone Mountain" and a few other places including the Palacio apartments.

Trying to keep the rent under $800 a month.

Any suggestions?

Thanks... but I already used search before posting and didn't really find anything that answered my question. How did I know someone would be a smart aleck and say to use search...

Perhaps next time, you can preface your question with -- "I searched for [this subject] and read a lot of info, but I couldn't find what I was looking for about [this question]."

Regardless I still need help with my question... see how much time we have wasted? :P

I think it would have been just as easy for the first guy to answer my question instead of tell me to search... Not trying to be an a-hole or get in to a pointless pissing match with anyone ... just looking for help and figured this board would be a good place to start since it's worked for me before.

Incorrect! Typical pollyannaish queries:
"safe area . . good view of the city . . don't want to be in an area where I am likely to have my car broken in to"

You wouldn't go to a auto enthusiast forum and ask for recommendations for a fast, red car, would you?

Coming here and asking for an apartment in a safe area with a view is basically the same thing.

Do you have a better site in mind...?

I don't know of any "apartment forums"... this is the closest thing out there. And if you search "apartment in las vegas forum" on Google city-data is the first site that comes up...

Using search is only going to find threads people have created which do not specifically meet all the criteria I am looking for. If I could put "safe area, city view, northwest" all in one query I am sure it would work great. Unfortunately I don't think there is a way to do that. Even if I could find the info I was looking for in search, it could take hours to compile it from reading many separate threads, vs a few minutes making a post and getting a response from a helpful person... which is kind of the whole point of a forum
