Any petrolheads in the crowd?

Though I haven't been in a few weeks, the Cars and Coffee here in Vegas is excellent!

Do any of you go? I wouldn't mind meeting a few people off the list here (Single ladies interested in cars? )

EDIT* I'm going to expand a bit on this as well....

I'm in kind of an odd position among car nuts. I do like all cars, however, my favorites are the modern, expensive, high performance cars (Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche). The problem I have with that crowd of people is, I'm a technical person, and the owners of those cars aren't. Sadly, the owners of those are more interested in the "status" of those cars, rather than the actual ability of the cars. Its hard for me to relate to someone that doesn't work on them, or even drive them (Other than to show them off).

If any of you share my passion for the technical aspect of high performance cars, let me know. Its lonely here in the middle!

I keep getting invites from two of my co-workers to go with them but I never seem to make it. One day I will wake up early enough to go out that way.

HAHA ok. I'll look for him.

It really is something to see, if you're into cars. A lot of diversity. I haven't been in a few weeks, but I suspect now that its cooler in the mornings, a lot more cars will show up.

The wife and I will certainly attend when we finally make the move to Las Vegas. We bought a house in The Lakes earlier this year. We hope to be ready to move the end of October.

I've worked in Motorsports for factory sponsored teams my whole adult life. I've also done quite a bit of restoration work over the years on many makes. The most recent was a full restoration of a 1974 Jaguar E-type Series 3 for the original owner:

I've been to Cars and Coffee in Huntington Beach, CA before.

Where is the event held in Las Vegas?

AWESOME! I LOVE old Jags.

They are very rare.... Anything older than early 80's has long since caught fire and burned to the ground

As some of you may remember, I have a 1991 Toyota Camry in full running condition. Although not a sports car, I am wondering, at what point does this go from being and OLD car to a VINTAGE car? Does the value go up at some point? It's in good shape and body is also very good.
