Some casinos let you add a resume to the online application. Just apply & see what happens. Follow up with the property after you apply. I have friends that keep getting fired or hop from one place to the next as waiter & another a bartender. They quickly find new jobs. If a job is in the casino but at a leased place your chances are better I think.

I don't understand the casino job environment at all. I have a brother-in-law and a cousin-in-law that bounce around strip with different jobs for different companies. My brother's track record is Security at Tao night club, then Toa on the beach as a barback, then that ended...then he applied at City-Center "extreme job hiring process" he worked less than 2 days till they let him go as a valet parking driver. Within a week he went right next door to Cosmo doing security/bouncer. He has been at Cosmo ever since.

He has been able to get a couple of friends and family jobs over there as well.

Too much bouncing around for me. But I'm sure its the nature of the business.

wow..that`s really cool. it seems that you have a huge experience in this domain.

i don`t have such a big experience. only 2 years and something, but i like it... and i LOVE VEGAS! that`s why i want to come there... i like that luxury which is everywhere, the low cost of living, and i`m sure that i`ll make good money anywhere... i`m sure that i will make it! cause all the time they are a lot of tourists from all over the world...

if you make it in chicago, a very expensive city(like New York) w a rent of $1200/2 bedrooms, or a property tax of $4000/years/2 bedrooms, in VEGAS is peace of cake with $600/2 bedrooms, or (WHAT?!?) a property tax of $350/year ??? that`s nothing comparing with Chicago, where for a house you could pay even $7000/year in property tax.. the taxes in Chicago are crazy.

Even gas in Chicago is now 3,50-3,55....in Vegas around 3,00
