I don't have any problem with Pinot_Guy except that long, drawn-out, rambling, meaningless parting shot. Everyone is welcome to their opinion, even me on occasion, but that post basically said, "I'm right. You're wrong. Period. And by implication it said the same to anyone who disagrees with Pinot. In addition it was rather insulting to a degree that was not necessary. I usually like Pinot's posts, but that was over the top.

Dealing with someone who thinks they are always right reminds me of my favorite saying: "People who think they know everything are particularly annoying to those of us who do."

And I fully expect to be called out when I get too.... too. I'm not perfect and can be an ass with the best of them. When I am let me know and I'll try to cool it. Try being the key word.
Agreed...I wish all arguments...for AND against...could be argued civilly and with open-mind. After all, isn't that how learning and the avenue for empathy takes place.

Personally, I'd rather someone just put me on ignore if they don't like what I have to say...rather than resort to childish behavior. Just because someone might love living in Las Vegas and therefore decide to present only the positives, doesn't mean we should hate each other if decide to post another side of things. It's the same problem with Congress...Democrats and Republicans can disagree but shouldn't hate each other, as they do today...that leads to stalemate, and at our expense. Any good Congress that ever existed always had the ability to listen...and HEAR...the other side.

I thought this was a simple question about pizza?

Even the OP is gone after stirring things up.

Well, you know, life is like pizza...each ingredient on it's own is kind of blah. Put them all together and you've got something special (with the best pizza made in NYC, of course )

I am constantly amazed at how worked up people can get about pizza. I like a lot of different styles and the only time I complain is if it tastes bad... Gimme a deep dish, a thin crust, or a thick crust and I'm fine.

Put anchovies on it and I'm goin' down the block to a different pizza joint.
