Hello Everyone! My boyfriend, his friend, and I are planning to move to Vegas from New Jersey. Was looking for some help on what neighborhoods/apartments to look into? Any suggestions will help as I am on the East Coast and the best I can do on my own is google apartment complexes. Which are the best? Where is it the worst?

Also bugs seem to big an issue out there in Vegas, any places that have less than others? I'd prefer not to share my bed with a few roaches. Gross.

Looking at the price range of 800-900 or so a month and away from any rough areas. Thanks for your help!

Rent at a budget for a week. Come out, go look, and select your own place.

If you can't afford a week at Budget don't come.

We have bugs, but they don't have the "attitude" NY / NJ bugs have

Default Apartment rec

The apartments I just moved into are pretty decent, near the highway and cheap. It's a gated complex...I pay $479 for a 1x1 they have 2x2's for around $660/mo all you pay is electric. They have washer/dryer units at no extra charge too.
People have told me it's not the best part of town....compared to where I was in Denver it's great and from growing up outside of Pittsburgh, it's REALLY great!

PM me for info.

Hi. I live in New Jersey and own a home in Las Vegas (Aliante in NOrth Las Vegas to be exact). You really need to go out and look at all the different areas and neighborhoods of the city. No suggestions can replace seeing a place in person.

I made about 5 different trips to Las Vegas while house hunting. I originally thought I wanted to live in Henderson, but didn't really like it once I got there. I refused to consider North Las Vegas until my very last trip. I hadn't found anyplace I loved and finally gave in to my realtor's suggestion that I visit Aliante. I immediately fell in love with the area and can't wait until I can move there permanently.

I haven't seen any bugs in my house. I have far more bugs and critters in NJ.
