I chose Peccole Ranch since I found the rental property that I was looking for, but both communities are very nice.

Also, I did visit the Centennial Hills area yesterday. It looked nice; however, didn't seem as developed & green as the other 2 areas. It all depends on one's preference; the fact that Centennial Hills isn't fully developed must be a positive for many in that area as I've read in this forum.

Thanks for the feed backs & wish everyone a prosperous 2012!!
Both Peccole Ranch and Desert Shores are much older communities and therefore the flora is far more greener and mature than anything in Centennial Hills. As the building progressed during the boom years, lush lawnscapes and trees not native to the desert were NOT used by the various builders of new homes due to the increase in population and water conservation.

That's why Centennial Hills (and most other newer areas of the valley) will always look more "deserty" than Peccole Ranch or Desert Shores and any other older community built before the boom time.

Glad you found your rental home, have fun!

MomMom, as you can tell I'm new to this forum & have a question for you. When I looked at your reply, I noticed that you inserted my text in a Quote box along with your reply.

My question is: how do you do that? (how do you insert a text quote along with your reply). I've been trying to figure it out for an hour & finally gave up

And you can multi quote by clicking the icon next to the word "quote" on however many messages you want to include. Unless there is a limited number I don't know about. Have never tried more than two or three.
