Just wanted to think everyone on the forums for the honest advice about what to expect moving to Vegas. I took a vacation out there in August to get a feel for the place. I liked the city granted it was a bit hot but I can over look that since I no longer will have to mow my yard or shovel my driveway and roof. Will have to see if my attitude changes after living out there for a year.

Everything will be absolutely wonderful. And if it isn't, you can always move out...thousands do it each month.

Get ready sheriff (#005).

Lots of people's attutudes change after living in Vegas. I'm thankful I had the experience, couldn't stay a minute longer. The people who come from really cold places seem to do better there.

I'm so excited to get there. They are saying it is going to be a rough winter here along the front range. Last winter we had 4 huge dumps and -60 temperatures with the wind chill (and the wind NEVER stops blowing). What can be worse than that??? I cannot wait for a winter above zero. 7 weeks and counting!!!
