As my geek flag flies, I own a Segway personal mobility device

Now I know they are NOT allowed on the Strip, but they are allowed everywhere else.

Do you think I can ride one safely on the bad streets of Vegas (I am standing so I am higher up then a Vespa, or a Rice eater)

The only Segways I've seen have been casino security.

They look fun and I've always wanted to try one. Bet you could sell rides on Fremont Street. But as far as safe on the sidewalk goes they are probably OK. Never in the street other than crosswalks.

On our last cruise we were allowed to go on a zip line, but were too old to rent a Segway.
