Nellis has the same policy for its civilian employees. The exact same thng happened to my friend's son.

Search for Buzz's post on the same issue. He's advised many. He'd prolly tell you that you could get a couple of temp jobs. Get one, when they lay you off get another. Apparently they go of the last two employers and it will show you were laid off because of lack of work.

WHY are people SOOOO confused about the meaning of RIGHT TO WORK?

reduced to its simplest form, it means that you are allowed to hold a job without being forced to join the union. PERIOD.

I think they are confusing it with the term "At-Will"

Or so it appears to me.

That's what it sounds like to me.....it appears that they pay the same amount of attention to their schedules

This comment in no way is directed at the OP but just a general observation. You know times are tough when getting approved for unemployment is considered a major victory. everyday the same thing plays out across the country.
