Gone to Vegas, only spent 50 bucks and still thought you had a great time?

Yes, last year I spent about 40, and will do the same in April. Company pays everything for a business conference, including meals and a show. I just limit my gambling and stretch it out to make it last and that's all I have to spend of my own money. Having only evenings there's not that much time for it and I usually win enough to go several hours a day on $10-15. Not exactly a vacation but still fun.

So the answer for you is also no. Got it. No for me, too, OP. Tough these days. Also, what is the amount of time you have to spend 50 bucks? As a local, I can go down and watch the Fremont Street Experience and go back home spending $0. If you are coming for even a night, you will be hard pressed to find a hotel on the strip or downtown that wont cost $50 once all the resort fees and etc are added in...even on a Tuesday.

I meant in terms of gambling.

So this does not include fuel, ticket prices and all that other stuff to get here and get back?

$50 can probably last you at the penny slots.

My first time in Las Vegas, 1989, I was stuck here for 16 hours, waiting for a flight. I walked from the airport to the MGM with $20 in my pocket and played $1 blackjack for 14 hours. I left with $20 in my pocket, almost too drunk to get into a cab, and went back to the airport to catch my flight. I was never up by more than $150 and never down below $20.

The next week, I ran into one of the people at the blackjack table. "Weren't you the guy who always seemed to get aces to split?"

The next time I was in Las Vegas, 1994, I lost $100 in five minutes and quit gambling entirely.

Oh well if you mean gambling then, yes absolutely. $1 blackjack, craps, etc. Penny slots, cheap Keno, bet $2 on a sporting event then wait the three hours while you watch it. You have to be careful how you frame your questions on the Las Vegas board. There are way more things to do than gamble, so much so that its sometimes the last thing people spend money on, if at all.

When my friend came here on his 21st birthday years and years ago, he set only a $20 budget to gamble with. He expected to lose it within minutes, but ended up winning over $500 on the slots, so I guess you could say he had a really good time. Since then, he has obviously lost it all back and then some though.
