I would like to know if this is the norm. Last year when i went to las vegas and booked my 4-5 day stay at ballys casino, i had paid for those 4-5 days and booked it. I did recall once i made that reservation under my total rewards account... had i tried to book another date online... it would not allow me to. Say if i wanted to book the following days later, it wouldnt allow it and have that message that it seems you have a reservation booked for this period.

For example, say i booked from september 12-15th on my account. Then if i went and tried to book another day from the 18th... it would say i already have a reservation booked and i cannot make any reservations this time. And they would show this message of every single casino.

The same can be said when i book say a 1 or 2 day stay at a casino in Atlantic City. Once i do this, i cannot book another date that seems to be near the time i booked it. Is there a reason for this? And does anyone know what is the minimum amount of days i can book the following reservation? Like if i do a reservation from september 12 - 15th, say i wanted to do another reservation on the 17th -19th, total rewards wouldnt allow me under my account. The reason why i book it under my card is b/c the rates are cheaper of course. But is there like a minimum amount of day total rewards prevents you from booking another reservation whether its comped or you paying for it?

The reason why i ask this is b/c I might be jumping from hotel to hotel since I will be in vegas for 3 full weeks. I will be staying at the downtown casinos for a couple of days, then head to say harrahs because i have 1 comped night available. I have checked my calendar on total rewards and it seems like i get 1 comped room in certain weeks if i book it just for 1 day. What i want to know is... would i still be able to get another comped room like 5 days from that booking? For example, if i do a 1 night stay at a certain night... it would show as comp. But if i do that day plus the following day, it would show a price of $200. I think you guys understand what i mean here.

So basically i want to take advantage of every comped room i have and my card only allows 1 day max as a comp. But i also want to make sure i have those days available. Is there a way to do this? For example, say from may 2-5th, i check and i see if i do a 1 day stay, i have a comped room available at say imperial palace. If i book this on the 2nd... then when is the next day i can book another comped room assuming i have comp room available say the following week. Would it be the 9th?

I think what im asking sounds confusing but anyone that has done reservations using their total rewards probably know what im asking. Can someone answer my questions.

Thanks.
