There are a lot of factors involved when it comes to determining insurance rates. I moved here from CA and yes NV has significantly higher rates. Due to the high risk and claims filed here since alcohol is served 24 hours a day that makes a big difference. The 18 year old driver adds to the higher premium as well. The $0 deductible on the comprehensive portion of your policy also contributes to your higher rates. I work for an Allstate office so I can review your old policy if you would like me to so I can see why your premiums are so high.

I ended up going with AMICA insurance. We'll see how it goes. As I've stated before the insurance rates here are significantly higher than my previous state. I feel violated.
