+1 for Chef Mayra's Pura Vida restaurant -- the only 100% vegan restaurant in Las Vegas -- she's a kind woman and she puts so much care into every dish!

Samosa Factory on west side of Sahara also has wonderful vegetarian options and a dedicated vegan menu.

Also, check out Paul Graham's great website where he's on a mission to have a different vegan meal in Las Vegas every day for a whole year (an impossible feat just a few years ago):

Eating Vegan In Vegas

There is also a "Vegas Veg" meetup group on meetup.com with 700+ members - they do events every week and every time I've gone to one they are the nicest people:

Vegas Veg (Las Vegas, NV) - Meetup

When I get back from Australia in a couple of months I will combine all of this information into a Vegas Veg*n guide.

I would be interested in this guide, so dm me, if you don't mind, when you have it completed.

The lunch counter at Rani's food mart is also 100% vegan. Fantastic food, too.

Thank you Scoop - is this a new policy? because the last time i went (6 months ago) you had to ask Mrs. Rani what was vegan that day as several items contained yogurt and other dairy (ghee, etc)

I love Rani's and I will miss living 2 blocks away

I wasn't aware of that. She told me it was all vegan. But she could have meant vegetarian. Or maybe it all happened to be vegan that day.

Paul Graham's book is finally out.

He's a local realtor who decided 2 years ago to try to have a different vegan meal in Las Vegas every day for 365 days

Now he has finally published an e-book of his experiences, and it includes a guidebook of every place that has veg options in the valley.

There will be a further update this fall, but the first version is already available here:

Eating Vegan in Vegas

Enjoy!

P.S. Most of the information from the book is available for free from Paul's website, but it is not organized in any way and Tumblr is incredibly difficult to search
