So, all of this food and restaurant talk is very interesting.

How about veggie restaurants? Any recommendations?

Oddly enough, a friend posted this on Facebook today about veggie and vegan restaurants in Vegas.

How interesting that Steve Wynn is reportedly a vegan!

I did have a really great veggie burger, made in house, when I was in Vegas. I can't remember the name of the restaurant but I think it was in the Bellagio. (we walked so much from place to place I really don't know!) It was delicious and came with amazing fries. I would like to find something a bit more unique than that, though, if possible.

Ha, ha. Dude, you slay me.

What about Rainbow's End Health Food Store on Sahara, just west of Maryland Pkwy? Is the restaurant still open?

I find that vegetarian restaurants substitute salt for the meat, which is worse for you. And none of them have any clue about allergies.

It's all about Red Velvet Cafe. They have locations on W. Sahara and Buffalo, and one inside the Fashion Show Mall.

Yep, looks like there is a cafe there:

VEGGin OUT Cafe « Rainbows End

Looks pretty good, actually!

Interesting that they have a bacon cheeseburger. I assume veggie patty and veggie bacon?

I'd like to have this:
Southwest “Chicken” Salad $7.49
Green leaf lettuce, Vegan “Chicken” strips, red onions, tomatoes, and Organic Black Beans with Annie’s Cowgirl Ranch dressing.

or this:
Green Goddess $7.99
Our ultra-famous sandwich has been a favorite for over 30 years! Avocado, cucumber, tomato, grated carrots and beets, onions, Vegenaise®, and cheese, topped with sprouts, inside locally-made whole wheat Pita bread.

Some of the info could be old on this site, so call ahead of time or check their websites.

Found this nestled into my quick links.

Whole Foods also has a nice dine in area with everything you need for a good meal. Just a straight shot down the Strip to Town Square on Las Vegas Blvd South.

Yes, Steve Wynn converted to veganism. Good for him. So you can find nice veg food in his casino's.
