Just a suggestion: You might get more Pahrump-related responses if you post this in the Nevada section, not Las Vegas.

In most areas of the USA, you've got two main choices for high speed Internet:

1) The phone company, or more accurately, the Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC)
2) The holder of the cable TV franchise

In Pahrump, the ILEC is AT&T Nevada. So you should be able to check the AT&T web site for local phone and DSL Internet. Looks like no U-Verse yet, so only plain ADSL is available.

The holder of the cable TV franchise in Pahrump appears to be a company named "CMA". So go to CMA Pahrump NV |Cable TV Internet and Phone – Pahrump Nevada to see what services are available at your service address.

I live in Pahrump - AT&T DSL is not available in ALL parts of the valley, same with CMA. If you live outside of their service areas there are other options, but not many. KeyOn; Air Internet; or satelite
