We are thinking of spending xmas on the strip and would like to know if any of the hotels have a indoor pool. I thought the Trop did but I can't find any info.

I'm a regular around the casinos but I don't go to the casino pools. I think Trop does have an indoor or partially indoor pool. I think numerous pools are heated and open year around. I'm sure others know a lot more pool particulars than I do.

I've been in Vegas mid-December, and some pools were open. It was low-70's during the day. Don't know how it is a week or two later.

In point of fact, in a place where outdoor pools can be open March - November (or more) indoor pools don't make sense.

True. In fact, some outdoor pools are heated and open year-round.

Most close anyways around the end of NFR (Dec 15th or so) and reopen around the 1st of March, even if they are heated. They don't want to pay the staff to stick around for a time when few if any customers will want to hit the pool. I am sure if you are a high roller and ask for it some casinos would find someone to stay out there and cater to you, but if you are just a regular Joe don't count on getting pool access.

The link in Pommysmommy's post will tell you which ones are open year around, and I think all of those will be kid friendly in the winter months.

Not really relevant here, but I have pictures of being in an outdoor heated pool during a ski vacation trip to Aspen and there is snow on the ground all around the pool. They only opened it to use a few hours per day, and it was covered with a thermal blanket the rest of the time. But surprisingly, to me anyway, it got a lot of use when it was open.
