don't think you can use them any other day but the 4th but you can buy them during those dates you mentioned!

The rules call for the fireworks to go off a bit after sunset and stop a bit after that! That is it! Really, why should we even have all this BS?

I am all for organized fireworks on the strip and local casinos and municipalities but to have them in the neighborhoods with all the yahoos going wild is really uncalled for and its time it become complete ILLEGAL!
You sound like a Liberal...

All I remember is last 4th of July was kick a$$! Las Vegas really knows how to party! Never have I ever experienced a 4th of July like I have in Las Vegas. Never ever! You go outside and you can pretty much watch fireworks in 360 degrees for hours on end as a local.

Anyways, I get the comment about the freedom. Moving from libertarian Nevada to progressive Mecca Portland I never knew how many new rules there are to follow here. It's overwhelming and feels more big city than Las Vegas or Austin. I really appreciated the freedom in Las Vegas and Austin.

Fireworks are bad for the environment. They should be banned.

People should also be banned.... from the environment.

The link you provided doesn't call out any difference between purchase and usage dates.

They can be not only be legally purchased, but also legally used during those dates:

Fireworks Safety

"Only fireworks labeled as "Safe and Sane" are legal for use on private property for one week of the year, from June 28 until 11:59 p.m. on July 4."

We should double ban the fire works. We should also set up fireworks free zones. If that doesn't work we will institute background checks for fireworks purchases. No one will possibly get fireworks then.
It worked for guns. No one gets shot anymore.
