but really...i'm not here to argue with you which city is better. Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world. Houston is the energy and medical capital of the world. Let's leave it at that. Can we get back on topic and not insult where each other is from?

So apparently, there's no off the strip clubs that the locals goes to. What on strip clubs do yall go do that's less expensive? i know someone mentioned local nights and industry nights earlier. which clubs offer that and when?

Ah, I wondered when Colton was going to get a link in this thread. I would have linked it myself but I'm a bit green on what's acceptable and not in regards to links. The Vegas nightlife information on that site is the best there is and it will never lead you in the wrong direction. That link goes to the forum, which is great for reading discussions and experiences but I would also recommend reading the main page as well.

Good for you! I have no idea why people get into pissing contests over whose city is better. It really is ridiculous.

Sure there are. Two that come immediately to mind are Rock's Lounge and Cherry Nightclub at Red Rock. Also, Blue Martini in Town Square.

If you're looking to listen and dance to country western, I would recommend Stoney's and Roadrunner Saloon. If you're more into rock and/or metal, I would suggest Count's Vamp'd (great live entertainment, but not so great if you're looking to dance.)

These aren't going to compare to the clubs in the casinos on the Strip, but that's not what you're looking for anyway, right?

My wife had a closer encounter with a member of Quiet Riot: she had her breast autographed at a concert.

But that was back in the day, lol.

Pink pool tables, porn all over the bathroom walls. I literally ran onto a member of Quiet Riot when partying there.

As we got a little older, we moved on to the Armadillo at Texas Station. They had a disco ball shaped like an Armadillo and used to feature the original 80's cover band, "Loveshack". You didn't look like an idiot in there in your thirties.

I guess we left you youngsters with fewer options. I think Fremont Street will have a bunch after the Zappos guy gets done with it.
Oh man the Beach is the only club I miss, I had so much fun in there. Pinkies too, dive bar but fun.
