Looking at Boulevard @ 4201 apartments. They are at 4201 S Decatur Blvd.

Wife and I are looking for an apt that accepts pets (they do) preferably have 2 bed/2 bath for under 1000 (they do) washer/dryer in unit (check) and is in an area fairly close to the strip (about 2 miles) in an area that is "safe" I put that in quotations because I am a big believer in no area is 100%and really no area is 100% dangerous, BUT I'm talking about not wanting to live in a place where street signs have bullet holes. According to the LVMPD crime map this looks like a fairly low crime area (at least over the past 60 days) and it meets the other main criteria. Any opinions on these apartments or this area?
Any other suggestions that meet this criteria?
We're also looking at Spanish Palms. We're down to the last few months before our move and narrowing down our search field.
Thanks in advance

I have lived in that area and did not have any problems. It is definitely a better area than I live now.
