I am moving to Las Vegas beginning next year (I like to get a good head start on things) for at least 3 months. I have lived in Wyoming most of my life and so coming to Las vegas my biggest concern is safety in where I live. I will be working at the Lo Ruvo Center for brain health and I do not know the area around there (or anywhere for that matter). A commute doesn't bother me at all as long as its in a safe neighborhood. To be even more picky, because I will be there short term I would like to find a place fully furnished that I can rent for 3-6 months. Any suggestions for me??

Rather than renting a place at an Extended Stay, which for the most parts are not in good areas, another poster posted a link to Craigslist that has a category for temporary rentals, which seem like a better bet to me. Search this forum for short term rentals, and it should come up. You can rent either a whole unit or just a room.
