Does Carl give a warranty on his work?

My boyfriend has a 2001 Audi tt awd 1.8t he needs a new clutch and slave cylinder. Would Carl be a good choice for this kind of job, or does anyone have a better recommendation? He called a European shop around here (not sure which one) to get a quote but really, we're just throwing darts in the dark on if they would be good or not. lol.

As a rule of thumb, I know that any mechanic cannot know every single make and model out there. Most good mechanics will limit themselves to a type of car. Its like the saying "jack of all trades but master of none" applies to auto mechanics. I will bring my Mustang to someone who knows supercharged ford modular engines rather than a "general mechanic who only has the basic diagnostic tools".

Does anyone have a recommendation for a 7 series? I'd rather not be stuck taking it to the dealer after my CPO is over in a month.

Could you tell me who it is that you use as your Mustang sounds pretty similar to mines.

I love how this forum has become 1sided. A consumer complaint is "so and so sucks, horrible, etc". An opinion states I would Not take my car to Carl's because..... By not allowing this, the forum provides a disservice to its members.

Those are the rules under the TOS. If you want to send more info by DM, you can do that. "Opinions" can be consumer complaints, too. If you want to send someone specific negative info about a business, send a DM.
