Was only out for a few minutes today, but it actually felt good. I hate A/C even though I couldn't live without it.

There's no better smell than the desert right after a good rain. Nothing else quite like it.

Bug bully is finally coming to spray tomorrow. I hope the rain this weekend coming up does not wash it all away. IF it rains that is. Most of the time it's just lightning, wind and a sprinkle or two.

Strangely it always seems to rain the day the bug guy comes. Maybe he should come more than once every two months???!!???

I don't mind the heat...as long as I have AC inside, or a pool outside.

We haven't seen a good lightning storm since we moved here in 2007. At first, I thought, "Cool! Just like home." But it turns out that was an anomaly.

As for the smell, it's basically mold and bacteria. Odd that so many people find the smell pleasant. (I have to admit, I like it as well.)
