Been on my list of things to do but haven't gotten there yet. Next time I am in town will try to make it. Looks great.

Great tip, it also works of a BoA credit card. Be aware that ADMISSION is free, but if there is a special even going on like Hawaii culture or whatever, THAT is not free. Mind you, just about every weekend has a special event.

Definitely worth the time and the money. Took the grandkids there last time that they were in town, and the hardest thing was getting them to leave when we were done. I haven't bought an annual pass yet, but I plan to.

Springs Preserve is such a great community asset. It’s amazing the advancement the institution has been able to make in a little over a decade since completion.

I like the outdoor part the best. The trails leading to different things. Already did the inside part/museum, and once was enough for me. I still need to see the Butterfly Habitat.

I loved the off-the-grid/ solar house that some UNLV students designed and built. I
assume it's still there? I might have to visit again to check out the Butterfly Habitat,
we definitely didn't notice that on our last visit.

There's a covered parking in front with solar panels all over the top - maybe that's it? Some of the stalls had signs for members, and some didn't - I parked in the shade where there wasn't a sign and didn't get towed away lol.

The butterfly habitat wasn't open when I went Mon 6-17-19.

Butterfly Habitat is seasonal, open during Spring and I believe early Fall if I'm not mistaken.

On a different note, be careful walking around at the Springs Preserve, there is still wildlife in the area, saw a snake there a few years back.
