We just had some serious hail here in NLV (near Aliante). Some of the hail stones were almost golf-ball sized. Crazy lightening too. We took some pictures. I'll try to post them tomorrow.

We had penny sized hail in the NW (Buffalo & Elkhorn) in an intense one hour thunderstorm.

I went out on my porch and it felt like it was snowing ice cold marbles! Totally insane storm. Have my blinds all the way up and I'm watching the fantastic light show in the eastern sky.

What side / area of town are you on? I'm wondering if it was only the west / northwest side of town that got hit. It was crazy. Very exhilarating.

No rain here on the extreme east side -- as USUAL. (Grumble, grumble, grumble.)

But I can't complain about the weather -- 88f in mid-July? That's just about perfect as far as I'm concerned.

Hail here too. We couldn't figure out what it was at first. Sounded like the pitter patter of little feet on the roof. lol The cats got all excited...probably thought it was birds dancing on the roof.
That was a very interesting intense storm.

So strange how that works! But yeah, the weather is divine. I love it. It's nice to have some humidity in the air as well.
