Got a speeding ticket in Kern County, near Mojave, CA. Going back there for court would be kind of hard, especially just to pay a fine. The cop said I'd hear from them in about two weeks, but it's been almost a month, and I can't get any info by phone or on-line either. Has anyone gone to the Pink House on DI Rd, or used any of the other ticket fixers in town? Is it really necessary? Do they charge more than it's worth? Inquiring minds need to know.

Have you tried calling the local prosecutor/D.A. where you got the ticket? If you are just trying to avoid a trip to court, you might get some help from the prosecutor by telling them you won't contest the ticket if you can avoid going to court. You might even get a reduced fine or points deal if the prosecutor is especially nice.

All the phone calls to the court direct you to the automated system which is no help. Both the automated phone system and the online site say the ticket hasn't been posted yet. I just don't want it to be a hassle down the road, and want to avoid a five hour drive each way, plus I'd have to spend the night. I'd just like to pay it and forget it. Just wondering if maybe Ticket Busters could get better results and maybe save some money.

Kern County is probably the worst place to get a ticket and the Mojave court house is also understaffed. You might want to call ticket busters to see if they can help you out. If not, then just pay the fine and forget about it.

My wife used Sin City Citations. 702-471-0500. For like $40 they got her ticket for running a red light reduced to a non-moving violation. She still had to pay the $192 fine but at least no points and our insurance stays the same. The ticket was in Henderson. All she had to do was send the money.

I'd be glad to just pay the fine if I could find out how much it is, but nobody answers the phone, and the automated service doesn't work. I know the people at the pink building ...I can't remember what they're called and can't find them on Google ...I know they have offices in California because I saw them. Just hoping they could toddle over there and pay my fine as long as I don't end up paying twice as much. I really don't feel like driving all the way back there the night before the court date, stay in some dump, then drive back, just for a speeding ticket.

Not y'all's problem I know. Just hoping someone had the same experience and could advise. What the heck is the name of the pink building people? They run commercials on TV every ten minutes except when you want to see them. I always fast forward through TV spots though ...except Victoria's Secret (the secret by the way is that she's a **** ).

What did they charge you, and did they save you any money?
