Well I wasn't surprised by this one but I drove by Baja California this morning to see the lot was empty then I noticed the entrance was boarded up. The curse of that location continues!

The food was bad and overpriced. I ordered empanadas and they came frozen on the inside (the waitress said they were freshly made). It simply wasn't going to do very well in my opinion.

They got what they deserve if they serve frozen food and claim as fresh. All those restaurants a stones throw from there and they serve food frozen glad I didn't get a meal there.

Memphis BBQ's original restaurant on Warm Springs just west of Eastern is still open. They serve a nice breakfast there on the weekends. I drove by The Boiling Crab on Decatur and Flamingo the other day and it looked like it was closed.

So then I took my wife this morning to The Cracked Egg over at Painted Desert and noticed that The Taco Spot next door was already down for the count, guess they didn't pay any rent!

That was another place where the tacos were just "ok" and they charged almost 10 bucks for a combo meal. I didn't think that place would last long either.

Apparently Rosemary's is reopening and will be resurrected as part of the Reed Whipple Cultural Center.

Wow! Didn't that place just go in? Does that area get any business over there except for the Cracked Egg? Always seems to be empty buildings.

Yep, less than a year. Cracked Egg is the only good business over there.
