I am not familiar with the area but caring for my son, who is a disabled veteran requires being near a military facility and a VA MEDICAL CENTER (not a clinic). I see condos near the new VA Medical Center for very low prices. I would appreciate any insight you could give me

Go for it. Prices are cheap, area is new, facilities are even newer.

Unless there are other things that you are interested in such as shopping, schools, amenities, parks...etc

My main interest is proximity to Nellis and the new VA Medical Center. Are you familiar with these Condos off Centennial?

I have a friend that lives there. He only complains about receiving complaints from others that he is making too much noise in his garage. He is building a car in there.

You will be fine in that location, have all basic needs in that area as well as close to Nellis AFB.

Thank you to your son for his service, and to you for being his care giver.

Once again this whole deal smells, I've contacted several R/Es with no response. They advertise without the places being available and have no intention of selling anything that low anyway. This is the same as the identical Condo in Arizona. This is worse than trying to buy a used car.

I try to offer friendly warnings but I am constantly getting bashed by the local puffery mafia who have carte blanche here.

Nobody is responding because nothing is available. Everything in that development went to contract in the last 90 days. Even the dregs.

I would expect some to appear in the next days though they likely will be up in price. Nothing like a nice new hospital to drive the local housing up.

There are some single families available in the area for around 100K.

There is a mini boom going on in that area. How often do you see an open house for a rental? There are several of those along Tropical to Centennial area.

I never knew those existed.
