Hey guys

Been in LV the majority of the last 6 months. I can't believe how much my teeth have yellowed since being here and i've never really seen anyything like this before. It could just be my subconcious / vain'ness that's thinking it's a lot but it's definitely true my teeth have yellowed.

I dont drink the water here but i do cook with it.

Has anyone had a similar problem out here in Las Vegas? I read a report from 2011 saying they might have added too much flouride to water here and people are reporting it. Supposedly seeing yellow spots on teeth.

Please do give me feedback!

Never heard of such a thing. My pearly whites are doing just fine.

Sounds like you might have started drinking too much soda, coffee or tea. Certain medications can also lead to teeth yellowing.

or wine.

My teeth, although not perfectly white, have not changed color and I do drink filtered water from the tap.

My cousin thinks there is a water problem also. I thought he was being paranoid. I know there was something going on with perchlorate. You might want to investigate further.

Filtered water from the tap here also. My teeth are doing very good. I never smoked and rarely take any medication if that matters.

Japan and Slovenia are the two places I have seen the most yellow teeth. From the most affluent to the bums on the street. It definitely was something in the water for both of those countries.

I routinely drink RO treated tap water at home and completely unfiltered tap water from a drinking fountain at work. No change in tooth color. Going on 3 years now.

I'm not sure it is possible to drink too much coffee.

Perchlorate is a downstream problem. We add it to what we dump into Lake Mead. We don't have much in the water we take in.

Well, my dentists advice for yellowed teeth was to wear a brown tie.
