Is anything hot right now for fishing out at Floyd Lamb park?

When is the best time to fish out there, and how can I catch fish there during the fall?

There should be catfish out there right now. They switch over and start stocking rainbow trout late November.

I'm not a catfish fisherman but for trout I'll try a worm right on the bottom, powerbait about 2 feet off the bottom, and a worm or salmon eggs about 2 feet deep (using a bobber). Just depends on where they are feeding at.

Gatekeeper told my hubby that they have stocked the last of the catfish already and next stocking will be trout around the end of the month. Good luck, hubby is out there most days during the week - too many kids throwing rocks in the lakes on the weekends. Good luck!!
