Anyone know the status of this project? Doesn't look like anything is being done inside the old Great Indoors location. Thought it was originally schedule to be open around now.

We've been wondering about that too. Probably best for my wallet that they never open a location that close to us.

One of my friends works at the original frys store in Sunnyvale and he went to a meeting at their corporate in San Jose and said that location is on hold at the moment. Other than speculation, I'm not 100% sure why.

Most definitely. The distance is what keeps me from going there more often. I just settle for Best Buy, Radio Shack, Costco and online for my electronics fix.

I had no idea that they were going to build a Fry's in that location. Like von949, I don't go to Fry's much because of the location.

That's kind of their claim to fame. They've gotten marginally better over the years, but the reputation persists - for a reason.

^^ It depends on the location. For example Best Buy on Lake Mead- lackluster customer service. Best Buy off of North Decatur- employees were smart, helpful, and friendly. It comes down to management.
