We desperately need brakes and rotors changed, living in NLV near the VA hospital. Looking for a reputable shop that won't charge too much (shouldn't cost more than $260-$275) and that will do a good job. Preferably not more than 20 mins away, but could be further if needs be. Hoping to get this done tomorrow morning if possible. Thanks.

Yeah, Ted Weins is pretty good.

The Mexican maintenance shops on LVB and Cheyenne are not bad either. Probably cheaper also.

I went to Professional Brake Service after reading the exceptional reviews online. They really did live up to the reviews. It's a family owned joint with the owners from the midwest. I guarantee they'll take good care of you. Professional Brake and Auto Service

doing it yourself is not an option? for fronts it should take about 30-45 minutes max with parts in hand.

Brakes and rotors. Went to Ted Weins on Craig. Steve there was very nice and helped me out. Quoted me $360 for the whole job but he was able to get it down somehow and it only turned out to be $317. Not great but not too much above what we were quoted by other places. Overall I am satisfied. Thanks for your help.

It isn't in your neighborhood, but I go to Mr. Brake at Desert Inn and Jones. Honest repair shop, fast service, shows you the parts as they are working, fair price - and not a chain place.

A best kept secret about Vegas, the Mexican tire shops will also plug a tire for about $5 with no wait.

Plug is not very good. You want it to be patched from the inside

Discount Tire will fix a leaking tire as well, for free, whether you bought the tires from them or not.
