What does having an area having a 90% black population have to do with crime rates?

Statistically, everything.

Black and poor correlate highly with high crime.

Black and well off do not.

Some of the worst high crime areas in Las Vegas are not heavily black.

As far as our so called "Naked City", that's where the Cuban Marielitos ended up in the 1980's, and that's why it is dangerous. I don't think there are many black people in that area, so you can't blame them this time.

I was referring Naked City being on the outskirts to the festivities of First Fridays. Right now most events happen during FF are very far from Naked City, with the exception of Downtown Spaces (DTS) and the Hard Hat. As far 'hustling for ministries', please let me know who else has been contributing to the area for a long time, I've also mentioned the cultural center as well the electric car community so good job on picking out one group, Kingman.

The area is predominately Latino. And it really has gotten much better than it was in the 90s. The community center has computer classes, library, and a bi lingual preschool. They're also building a park next to the center.

Then Atlanta should surely have the highest crime in America according to your logic; since they have highest black population. They do not.

The correct correlation in poverty and violence. Show me an area with poverty and it will be a high crime area.
