I'm a single mom-- took my kids to the Magical Forest tonight-- they had a blast and we beat the crowds as in previous years we've waited an hour for the train and always had to skip the other rides, but this year we didn't wait in line for anything. Where else is recommended? I've done the speedway in previous years (I'm still bummed they moved it from Sunset Park), is it worth the drive to go to Ethyl Ms? How crowded is
Town Square for their Santa? Excalibur used to have a great display, but I believe it's gone downhill-- any other recommendations? Kids are 3, 5, and 8--- I wouldn't mind doing Opportunity Village again, but am hoping that some of you have some other suggestions.

Thanks in advance

Town square for Santa? There are Santas all over the valley. On the strip, in the malls, shopping centers...

No need to drive to Town Square just for Santa. I doubt that they have the best Santa in town anyway. Plus the lines will be ridiculously long. Just because its Town Square.

Ethyl M is worth it.
Springs Preserves is worth it.
Belagio is worth it.

Best thing going for kids in the valley. At least until the next water park opens up.

I want a nap. How come no one ever asks me if I want a nap?

My late father used to talk about that to my sister and I all the time when we were growing up.

I actually enjoy going to Town Square--- they have a cute little house and they used to make it snow there about every half hour--- something my kids will rarely see growing up here. And from where I live, it only takes about ten minutes to get there, now the parking may be another story!

Clark County Museum this weekend looks like fun. Here is the County Parks and Recs site. Look for part of the official poster to the right center and click on it. Clark County Museum

And Sam's Town Mystic Falls show is at 6, 8, and 10pm nightly. http://www.vegasnews.com/35235/sam%E...-24-jan-2.html
