Good grief man, I wasn't naked. Didn't want to scare anybody.

All this discussion on crime has got me thinking. I wonder what the crime rate is on
the Strip compared to the rest of the Valley? Does anybody know?

Calculated against the official population it is very high. Calculated against the visitor population it would be very good. Something comparable to the good but not the best suburbs.

Everybody is a stranger, living in a modernized Wild West town...And this isn't New York City. Go read a history book and tell me about the crime rate.

According to Neighborhood Scout crime data and ratings, Las Vegas has much less crime than Seattle or San Francisco.

When you say "crime in Las Vegas", you have to be more specific. Are you talking all of Clark County? Are you talking just the city of LV? Henderson, which in discussions tends to be lumped into Las Vegas (as part of the metro area) is one of the safest cities in the country. The flip side is also true. There are parts of the city of LV and NLV, that are very dangerous (statistically.)

So what exactly is the question?
