Two cars smashed up pert near a head on. I guess I got to the intersection a few minutes after it happened. The thing is no cops showed up at while I was in the area. Yet earlier today I read about this.

The news just tells us to exchange Info
& take lots of pictures. Then file a police report.
But a head on? Wonder how they plan on figuring out (quickly) which accidents to attend to.

While I was there it was just a fire truck that showed up. I wonder if people will have access to the cameras at intersections. I do think there may be more fights when people know cops won't show up. Not to mention the problems with insurance companies.

Yes, that was just their normal inattentiveness, not the upcoming new inattentiveness.

As long as I can remember, this is the norm in the Bay Area, as well. No injuries, no police involvement.

I have heard that in most cities the police don't show up. I was at Tropicana & Rainbow at 7:15 on the night that that guy w/his 2 kids in the car was fatally shot. As far as I know the police never got further than "road rage". Hard to believe. The police had the entire area closed off for hours. Mostly we became over 100 cars zig sagging through the parking lot at the northwest section of the intersection. Finally I went back to Durango and took Hacienda although Flamingo might have been better. The re-routed traffic was a bit aggressive, I just wanted to get out of the area.

Just have to count on luck that you and other people will be a bit calmer....
