Hi everyone, I'm new to City-data. Moved to Las Vegas with the husband. We have no kids. He's a professional poker player and we finally decided to move here! I really like it. I used to live in the Miami area and don't find it so different. I'm looking for a job. I know the nightlife industry is what booms here, so I'd like to work for a nightclub. I used to be a bevarage runner at Nikki Beach couple years ago. So I have some experience. I've also done modeling before. I'm an attractive latina female originally from Venezuela. My only problem is...I don't know anyone!..... I know the Hakkasan auditions are in motion....I'll go, but I doubt I will get anything...I'm sure the best of all the other clubs like XS Pure Marquee etc, will get hired first before I do. That being said. Does anyone on here know anyone that could help me get into the nightlife industry?

If you would have said "hot attractive female..." Then maybe you would have had a better chance. Attractive, will only get you half way in the door. HOT, will get you all the way in.

actually in this economy they're about a nickle a dozen. AND they all have Casino/nightclub/gaming experience.

1) Go get a job at a casino. Any casino. Any job. Doesn't matter.

2) Work your way into the position you want by being friendly, eager and competent.


That's it. There's no other way. You're not going to get hired directly into the nightclub unless "Playmate of the Year" is on your resume somewhere. No way. No how.
