Its not like us Las Vegans are waiting for online poker, we can just run down to the local gas station and start playing.

Its you guys out of state that want this!

I would say online poker is going to have massive fraud problems n the future.

^fraud... doubtful, unless it's a smaller run room.

Intrastate will occur first. I hate to be the barer of bad news but Maryland already has legal online gambling.

How hard will it be to get 3 buddies together: one in Calif, one in AZ, and one in NV and try to get to the same room to bilk unsuspecting online gamblers?

Wait and watch.

impossible with INTRASTATE gaming... from within the same state folks can run plays against unsuspecting players.

However a good player can negate this for the most part unless that player happens to be card dead.

Which happens.

So does Nevada, technically. I have an online sports book account with Station.

I actually sort of participated in this on a couple of the poker sites, before they got mostly shut down. I'd be here in LV, I had a friend in California and a friend in Australia, and we'd frequently play at the same table while instant messaging each other. We would usually know what each other was holding, if it was worth knowing, although we didn't really actively try to collude against other players. Once in a while my CA friend and I would take advantage of a hyper-aggressive player when one of us was holding the nuts, but that's about it.
