Yeah, there are gay clubs, but they're scattered all throughout town, mainly east of the Strip.

Las Vegas is one of the most heterosexual cities on the planet! And there's not a darn thing wrong with that...but let's not pretend otherwise!
I said they have about the same distribution. And no I do not know the town is overly straight...though its advertising may so indicate. I expect lots of those ads were written by gays.

I speak to the distribution...not absolute numbers. And no Las Vegas, in my experience, is not unusually heterosexual.

lol. Las Vegas is "San Francisco for libertarian-minded heterosexuals"

There is an area affectionately known as the fruit loop which is just south of the Hard Rock on Paradise. There are several gay bars there. You would not want to live in the area, but it's fun to hang out there.

As others have stated, you can choose any neighborhood in town and should not feel unwelcome. I would strongly caution you not to move here without a car though. Bad idea.

...And that's exactly where my directions will tale them...

There's also some up off of Sahara. LV Lounge, Hawks Gym etc..

Is say there's plenty of gay clubs here, plus I've seen gays welcomed to the regular clubs too...nobody here cares about your sexuality.

Good thread, guys and gals. We're moving in June, and my 20 year old step-daughter is coming with. She's Miss Lesbian Rhode Island and was asking if there are gay-friendly spots in Vegas. We hadn't started looking yet, but when she turns 21 we'll point her in that direction. Until then, we'll try to find some 18+ places for her to socialize.

When she turns 21, use my directions...across the street from Pirahnas is Gypsies...it's a gay club as well but caters more to lesbians.

In reality, gays are to be found everywhere, mixed in...but those places cater specifically to them.

It's like that here in Little Rhody. No concentrated area, but a half dozen gay clubs scattered around Providence. But being an "artsy-fartsy" town now, Providence welcomes all people, a pretty big change over the past 20 years or so. I know she'll have no problems finding places to socialize in LV. I just don't want her to get isolated and lonely and want to move back.

Most of the gay spots in Vegas are male-oriented.

But they did just open a large Gay/Lesbian Center downtown, so that should be good for your daughter Article is in today's LV-RJ:

Nice to know, Kttam. Thanks for the link. I always have to remember not to ever read comments on news stories, however. Gets me riled every time. :/
